Trufl Internship
Overview
In the summer of 2022, I had an opportunity to work at Trufl Hospitality as a UX/UI design intern. Our team worked on the Trufl application V3 for restaurants on multi-platforms, where I gained a lot of experience in designing for the B2B tools.
My Role
- Iterated and redesigned the key features of the restaurant tool.
- Created the high-fidelity prototype with Protopie.
- Conducted usability testing for V3 restaurant tool with the hospitality team and the host from the restaurants.
- Contributed to creating and maintaining Design System for mobile manager App in the Adobe XD to improve productivity.

Design the notification settings for restaurant managers on ios and IpadOS platforms.

Helps restaurant managers customize the notification for customers’ reservations and waitlists on different platforms.

Helps the manager set the time and period of notification to customers.
Challenge 2
• Helps manager find open tables as quickly as possible on the original restaurant tool.
• Redesign the information on the table interface.
Open Tables
Restaurant staff can quickly check the open table in different time slots with open tables tab.
Table Information
Allow restaurant staffs easily find the related information around the table. Include the minimum cost, upcoming guests, block time, waitress…
